Where can I find the rental conditions?
The rental conditions can be found in step 3 of the booking process before you commit to confirm the booking.
How old must I be to hire a vehicle?
Age limits vary between car hire companies. Please consult the rate details in step 2 of the booking process for information relevant to each quote.
Can I reserve a specific make and model?
Although we make every effort to supply the reserved model it is not possible for us to guarantee that a specific make and model will be available. Should the make/model of the reserved vehicle not be available then the rental agent will provide a suitable alternative from the same or higher group classification.
What about additional extras?
Prices for optional extras are displayed in the rate details in step 2 of the booking process. However, please note that not all optional extras are always listed. All additional extras (child seats, special equipment, additional drivers etc) should be paid for at the local rental office on collection of the hire vehicle.
When is the booking confirmed?
A booking is only confirmed when credit card details have been supplied via the secure, encrypted connection and a reservation voucher has been issued.
Which car hire company will I be renting with?
The booking engine will search the major car rental companies to provide the best quotes. The company that you will collect the rental car from will be displayed on your reservation voucher.
Where is my reservation voucher?
Your reservation voucher is sent in 2 business days to the e-mail address you provide at the time of booking. If you do not have your voucher after making a reservation please check any spam folders in your e-mail account. Replacement vouchers can be accessed via the My Voucher facility.
Why can't I open my voucher in the e-mail?
Copy the reservation voucher link from the e-mail and paste it into the address bar of your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari etc) then press the return (enter) key.
What documentation do I need on collection of the vehicle
On collection of the vehicle you will need to provide your reservation voucher, a full valid driver's license which has been held for a minimum of 2 years and a major credit card held in the driver's name. An international driver's license is only acceptable as supplementary ID when supplied with a license from your country of residence.
Important note: You must present the reservation voucher on collection of your vehicle or the rental may be rejected or additional charges applied.
Can I drive to neighbouring countries?
In most cases the vehicle can be taken outside the country of rental. However, please check the rental conditions for confirmation and further details.
What should I do in the event of an accident?
In the event of an accident please contact the rental agent office from which you hired the vehicle. You will find the contact information on your reservation voucher and/or your rental agreement.
You will be required to inform the rental agent immediately of any accident.
In addition you must take the following measures:
1. Obtain complete details of the persons involved in the accident as well as any possible witnesses.
2. Immediately provide the rental agent with all the details regarding the accident.
3. Immediately notify the authorities if the third party should be investigated or in the event of injured persons.
4. Do not leave the vehicle without taking correct measures to protect and safeguard it.
Please note that no refund can be made for a reservation or lost rental time if the vehicle has been involved in an accident.
